I just got an email from ea games telling me that since I pre ordered the game, I get the privelage of checking out a "demo" version of the game. I knew about this but I thought it was only for a day before it launches, a week from now.
The thing is, I just got to work! I have 5 hours till I can afford to get home. Can't wait!! See you guys on the Battlefield. :D

Yep, people who pre-order it on Ea-Downloader get the demo a day earlier than the rest of us. I'll see you online when I get the demo on Friday.

When it get's officially launched, will it be downloadable through EA games or will I have to wait to receive the cd/dvd?

You can pre-download it the week before release, but you can't play it till it's been released.

Oh, ok. Yan, After it becomes released will I ever need a CD/DVD or will I always be able to run it through EA downloader alone?

wobble987, sorry but I have no idea.

That is a good question though, I remember forcing it into 16:10, still looked good though.

If you get it through EA downloader you wont need a CD/DVD, although I dont know why you wouldnt want one. Atleast just for another case on the shelf. But yeah I pre ordered mine from gamestop to be shipped directly to my dorm, and Ive signed up as a veteren. Everyone who played BF2 should sign up, it gives you an exclusive medal. And since I pre ordered mine from gamestop/EB games, my bonus from them is an automatic rank up when I play the first time, haha suckers! Wow I need to start thinking about what ill unlock...
