    Hey forum members,

I just wanted to share my screenshots and experiences with the new Battlefield game. Overall I must say that the game play has changed a lot in this new demo, it seems like everybody is flying and driving vehicles. Not real close combat as you can understand :(

Anyways, I wanted to show at which settings you can play BF2142 and with what FPS.

Specs of the M1437G: see signature (nothing overclocked)
Settings of BF2142: 1024*768*60Hz*32-bit and quality set to medium automatically.
Amount of FPS: lowest I had was 26, but it was for just 0,5 seconds. Normally it is around 32, and sometimes up to 40 fps.
How does it feel: the game feels smooth and combat is without any stuttering or so. Landscape looks good too, but I will let you guys judge that :)

    So here are some screenshots.

I hope now people have an idea of what they can expect from their notebooks when it comes to BF2142. So if you have an X1600 that means you can play this game very good. But I am afraid integrated solutions are going to have a hard time with this game.

    Charlie :)

I take it that's a Pentium M and not a Core Duo of any sort, right? Any ideas if BF2142 has specific threaded support?

Woah! you need 2 atleast use texture filtering.

On my notebook I get a solid 60FPS on maximum settings with 4xAA 1024x768rez
on the very VERY buggy demo of BF2142. very fun game though, too bad its only online. I want to play it on the go as well.

NICE!!!! X700 isn't bad at all, still handle the grahics pretty well. Now I know what to expects from my go6600. Is Battlefield 2142 more demanding in graphics then Battlefield 2?? Thanks

Looks good. Testimate to the power of the x700! I might turn on Antialiasing though. Personally, Jaggies drive me nuts :p

When I get bored I'll try this one out on my 265mb X700 and let y'all know how it goes.

GREAT! Battlefield works EXCELLENT fine on x700, altho I have X1400, I consider mine will work no less than that! :D

Sorry, it'll probably work lower on an x1400. The x1400 has fewer pixel pipelines and shaders. Instant performance loss.

The x700 and x1400 may benchmark similar, but the x700 will beat it in real world gaming.

Great to hear that people now have an idea of what they may expect from their notebooks. Actually that was my goal :)

Ok thanks for the tip Twilight. Today I will change settings and post my experiences.
