    Battlefield 2142 problem

    When i load the game up, it starts to load and all of a sudden the game quits and comes up with the error box.
    Can someone help me out?

    Is it a graphics card error? If you're on Vista, did you run as Administrator?

    What type of graphics card do you have? If it's ATI, set the accleration hardware to basic instead of advanced.

    tried reinstalling and didn't work
    tried reinstalling video card driver and didn't work

    If you recently patched the game and/or installed Northern Strike, install the patch again.

    Do you get an ingame error message that is blank, but says PunkBuster on the top of it?

    I used to get that. I had to manually update my punkbuster files when I updated to 1.25. You also have to add a couple of files to windows firewall and allow them access to internets.

    What does the error message say?

    Also, remember, this is EA, the game is supposed to crash sometimes, just not all the time. :D

    EA doesn't really make the game.

    DICE does.
