Battlefield BC2 Level Help

I was going through second level of this game I guess. There is a place where we need to wait and hold our position until air support comes online. There is a enemy tank and some terrorists which we need to hold on. I kept on killing these thugs for like 15-20 minutes but still the air support does not come online and I die by some means. Did anyone had similar problems or any walkthrough to pass this level?

15-20mins? Seriously? It takes about 1 minute in the game, try a restart and see if that helps, hide back in the village to avoid the tank as it always keeps an accurate lock on you.

 

Definitely something wrong there. Definitely only had to wait for one minute before air support arrives. If it still occurs, try a reinstall of the game then.

 

When air support comes, you need to switch to your binoculars, I forget what the key is, 5 or B? It'll say through the com and you have the manually designate the target, IE use your binoculars and click on the tank through it, THEN the air support will come.

 

When I use the binocular, it shows offline and in the objectives, it still says to wait until the support comes online. I sneaked behind the tank from the right and saw that the enemies were just reappearing from no where. I kept on killing them but either I was out of ammo or that tank would get a shot on me. Its really strange.

 

When support comes use the binoculars.

 

You have to be in direct line of sight to the Tank (anotherwords dont try to designate through a blown up building or anything) Then hold down fire when using the binoculars and you should hear a beeping countdown. If you've done all that but the air support still doesn't come i'd restart the level or the entire single player campaign. If that doesn't work then i'd try a re-install.
