Wow, wasn't planning on buying this. Just did.
Edit: Wow most impulsive thing I've ever bought. I just saw the "Ends March 28th"... and I knew it was to be. -
dang. oh well i got bad company 2 as a gift.
-
Aww, damn it. This must be US only.
-
OK, that's a good price point for me. Can I buy this if i'm in Canada?
-
Anyone know if its possible to download a game using the download manager and transfer that game to another computer WITHOUT re-downloading it?
-
-
Erm, well I mean within the confines of the EA Download Manager system. It seems pretty strict.
I found the folder that it's downloading the game to.. once I get my new computer, do I just transfer that folder into the new one? And it will work? -
buy buy buy buy buy guys
-
Wasn't planning on buying this game, at least for a while, but for $20, how can I go wrong?
-
Alrighty then, just purchased the game! woohoo! My price-point was met looong before I thought it would...frankly I wasn't planning on buying this but for $22.95 after tax you simply can't go wrong. Here's to savings!
p.s. sorry to all who bought at full price... -
After you download the game using EA Download manager, do you still need the download manager to play the game? Cuz i don't like EADM
If not, i might be picking up CnC4 if the coupon works

usapatriot Notebook Nobel Laureate
They should give everyone a refund of $20 after all the problems BC2 had at launch and is STILL having.
-
Great buy for $20, enjoying the game a lot.
I purchased at full price and totally happy... awesome deal for $20 -
Why in the world is there no toggle crouch and hold aim in the game? CARELESS OVERSIGHT I say!
-
Wow thank you for sharing! This is cheaper than the buy three get one free deal on Steam.
-
Thanks a ton, my recent frustrations with MW2 and the fact that this is only $20 made me do it.
Also to all Canadians, you can use this deal as well. -

- BC2 was attempting realism but sniping is a complete joke in that game. Who snipes crouched and don't even have to control their breathing? Why is there a crosshair with a sniper rifle?
- If you had to run and needed strafe wouldn't you do that? Why would you run at weird forward angle when you need to move the side? Who walks to the side on the battlefield?
If you are medic, and have to carry med kits and a defribulator, why would you run around carrying a massive M60 or any other machine gun? The stupidity in that is just mind blowing.
- I've love to see a medic who carries that equipment and then be able to hold a massive machine gun alone and then hold it at the shoulder and sight it...
Why do engineers run around with puny guns? Why aren't THEY running around with M60 tripod and setting up defenses? Again, stupidity is mind blowing.
Massive walls are being blown up
- Crouch behind a rock, and rock never blows up...
Why does the gun wiggle back and forth like a snake constantly? Are they really trying to tell me that when a person runs, they wiggle the gun rather than swinging because their arms are swinging?
- Why do you run like you are handicapped in BC2? When you have bullets whizzing at you, don't you think you'd haul @.ss as fast as you can, not shuffle along?
Why does it seem bullets are ineffective when you shoot from the waist, but magically the bullets become powerful when you use sight.
- What the bullet becomes magically more accurate when you hold it at the shoulder than further down?
There are a lot of things I thought was weird about BC2.
Game goes for realism yet there is aiming crosshair. Yeah that's really realistic, OMG the realism, there is a crosshair floating in front telling me where to shoot...
- See an enemy, press Q and now the enemy has a red triangle letting everyone know where he is. Yeah the realism is just mind blowing.
Backstabbing....
- Both US and UK have standards for ballistic vest testing which include knife testing, including slashing and stabbing. I would imagine every armed forces would, be stupid if they didn't.
- Army personnel have a knife for hand to hand combat, and you go for vulnerable spots, like the jugular, or the arteries in the legs, etc.
- Seriously who runs around while carrying a HEAVY rifle in one hand and run up to someone who is wearing a ballistic vest that is resistant to stabbing and try to stab them in the back? WHO DOES THAT?
I'm being overly negative I know. I know it's a game, but for a "realistic" "tactical" fighter, I thought BC2 wasn't very "tactical" or "realistic." -
why don't ppl from UK get this deal ? -.-
-
because we deserved to be screwed lol... we nver get these deals... only Americans do ...cry
-
Even in Germany. I swear, look up the German version of L4D2 and Killing Floor. No burning flesh, blood, gore, head doesn't pop off, it just sort of hangs there. -
I'm not complaining about realism. It's no more realistic for me to hold down a button to crouch versus just hitting the button once.

masterchef341 The guy from The Notebook
is it tied to steam? i would only buy the steam version...
-
Edit: NM, my network card was acting wonky. -

I can re-download this game off EA if I have to reinstall or wtv, right?
