I received the email, there really is no Beta Key that is sent, they will just activate your EA account to get a Security Layer login to get into the beta login site.

How big is BF:H? I signed up for the beta a couple months ago, I'll check if I've gotten my key when I get home today, school has all non district email blocked.

I got my key 2 weeks ago and I must say I like the game. It's pretty fun with all the crazy stuff you can do, it work great at the highest settings at 1280x800 without overclocking the card, though it gets pretty got (up to 90C) so I guess it’s more demanding than it looks like. The only thing is that since I am a casual gamer it will take me some time till I get credits for a new weapon.

This sucks! I really want to play this game but every time I try to connect to a server it says it could not find a match to my skill or whatever. I have tried turning off my firewall and reinstalling. Any ideas?

 

post in the BFH forum.... there will probably answers there.

 

I found a few posts about not getting any games with the match making system and there is no help on the forums. It has to be something with the router ports but nobody knows which ones. I could open them all but that would be bad.

 

whichever firewall, just make the firewall see BFH.exe as a trusted application, and all of its ports should be open for use.

 

I'd be interested in getting my hands on one

got mine a few days ago as well.... having a blast with it! Great game, thought it would be a TF2 knockoff, but it's actually it's own game. Enjoying the vehicles as well!

 

Kinda disappointed with the planes, but overall it's pretty fun.

I got a key a couple days ago, it's fun to play for a little while, just a little while.

 

I'm downloading now. If it's good for quick 20-30 minute runs, then that's perfect for me!

i got mine too the other day. it was only, what, 5 months? wtv. beggars cant be choosers...

one quick question though, how do you upgrade your guns. do you have to buy them or is it with points through kills that you get the option.

 

You buy them with VP (Valor Points) that you accrue as you play as well as complete missions (achievements) if you choose to do them.

We should make a BFH NBR team.... so we can help each other finish missions to buy more stuff and abilities.

 

i got my key a few days ago and having played it for awhile i feel its not for me.there seems to be limited things or movements you can do.and the whole buying of stuff? i was actually lookn forward to it from the trailers etc i seen on youtube,but guess not.owell,wot can you expect from something being free

 

I'm still having fun with it.... and as mentioned, it seems to be great for killing half an hour or so.

I have been on it for about a month, but it`s boring, i prefer more realism to my games like battlefield2

battlefield heroes is supposed to be more quick easy play similar to TF2, but much more upgradable within your class.

 

It's a great game

Easy to jump in and play for a while, but the only problem for me is that it automatically assigns you to a server, and the my ping is always bad with too much lag

Apart from that it is a fun casual game that has a had a lot of work put into it

 

sadly im addicted to it. game play can be a bit jerky here and there but still a good game especially as its free.

as a beta you only have 2 maps and it does get a bit manotanous after a while as you learn where all the hiding places are and its not that much of a challenge knowing where players are hiding.

the bit that really gets me mad is there always seems to be a few that will spoil it by somehow having invincible power and bullet proof skin and just cant be killed.

imo a great game.

 

I agree with you. BF2 or even Call of duty.
