    Hey,

Wanted to know with my current configuration at what settings can I play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 as well as Starcraft II and what would be my average FPS with these settings. I want the game to look pretty decent, I don't want it to look really bad and let it be based on pure performance. An average FPS of 60 is what I'm looking at.

    Thanks in advance.

You can play BFBC2 at med to high settings, just turn hbao off and shadows to medium or low and everything else should be fine at high. Worse case, force DirectX 9, and IMHO still looks great, but framerates should be really good.

With Starcraft 2, to be honest, I don't see much difference between high and ultra, and when playing, if you have time to notice the difference you're not playing it right! :p Heck even medium detail looks almost as good as high.

I used to play with high textures, medium everything else (HBAO off, Shadows Low) at 1920x1080 with my older G51, and that yielded me high fps in multiplayer (I think around 50-60) with some drops but good enough.

Starcraft 2 I was able to pull all high at 1080 res with around 30fps or near that for regular 2v2 matches.
