Hey all, i was just wondering if any of you had ever experienced issues in Battlefield Bad Co.2 when you go into server browser and search for servers, it just says 'waiting for data' and never finds any servers. Eventually after reseting the search and trying again, i get 'Failed to connect to EA online, please try again'.

Having googled the issue, it seems as though it's pretty common but for the life of me i haven't been able to find a solution that works! Any advice would be great. It did work when i first downloaded the game and does work sporadically but more often than not, it doesn't.

    Cheers

This has happened a few times to me before. Restarting Steam pretty much fixed it.

Thanks guys for your help. Found a very strange fix for it as all was up to date and patched already. The fix was to log-in from the main screen before going anywhere near multiplayer, then look at my history servers and/or favourite servers then go to server browser and this seems to bring up the full list of servers. Very weird but if anyone has issues...might be worth a try.
