    Battlefield2 Nobody playing online?

    After playing the demo for a couple of year, I decide to get the full game expecting to be able to play more maps online, But i cannot find a single server, oh yes i saw one the other day? 1 but it`s gone now.

    Looks like it`s back to the demo for me, that`s a waste of £4.01 :mad:

    i think i know the problem since i got pretty much the same... it'S because you don't have the actual version... you will have to download a patch, to bring it to the same version every body has(don't worry, everybody had to do that) all the available patches, i think, are available here, ( http://www.clubic.com/patch-jeux-video-1365-0-battlefield-2.html) and if I'm not mistaken, the one you need is the 1.41 version.

    I have the Deluxe Edition with the special forces expansion pack , the only version number i can see is 1.12878-710.0 what ever that means.

    I am downloading it now, from a different site 536mb , I hope i can get a nodvd to work with this.

    even after having patching your game, the number on top right(is that right) well the one you showed me wont be 1.41... well if i remember well when i was palying, but, it'll still be the good version. For the nodvd, i coulodn'T help, all I know is that usually, a nodvd doesn't allow to play online, correct me if i'm wrong, it'S been ages i have not used one.

    You can't use a no dvd patch for online play, punkbuster will see its been modified and boot you from the server, least i think it will lol. Normally get around 400 filtered servers so think its the patch issue.
