Haha, I just installed (and beat) COD4 on my laptop today, it was so addicting that I couldn't stop all the way to the end lol... If it had been longer, I would have kept on going too :p Great graphics, great musical score, great voice acting, great story.... what else is there left to say? The game gets a solid 9.5/10 from me (short of perfect since it could've been longer).... Oddly enough, I never liked any other game in the COD series, the whole WWII thing kinda bored me... Regardless, still looking forward to COD: World At War :D

My fav. weapon from what I got to use would have to be the P90, geez that thing is insane....

Lol. I suck, since I'm at the last part during the flashback, which took me 6 hours to get to (I kept on dying at certain parts of the game). My favourite wep has got to be the M4.

You mean the flashback part w/ Capt. MacMillan and Capt. Price??? I loved that part!!! Covert Ops is what I do best :p (which is why I'm a Metal Gear Solid fan as well)

Yeah, the regular M4A1 was OK, though I liked the M4A1 SOPMOD better...

Congrats, the ending sure was great.

I finished the game a week after I got it after release in November.

I just liked the M4 in general- regardless of the mods. It has a good firing rate, low sway, and excellent aiming. A good all-rounder.

veteran wasnt too hard. i finished it 3 - 4 days after the game came out since that was the first mode i did. there were really some frustrating parts that took hours to get through. the epilogue is the hardest part of beating the game in veteran. that took me around 3 hrs...

No fighting was a jerk on Veteran until I decided to just relax and it take it slow. Then I did it first try, I completed Mile High Club Flash bangs only, was mad fun.

i died like 6-7 times in the flashback, when you have to crawl through the field with soldiers and tanks going by. everytime i got spotted.but then stopped, tried again the next day and got it right away.

i also died sometimes because i would go to shoot a grenade and then someone would run in the way and it would bounce back. tried to run to a safe place and would die, or try to shoot it again quickly but it would blow up in hand or right after.

What I'd really want instead of a new game, would be a new single-player campaign in COD4. I'd pay the same as a new standalone game, so good was the first one. It was Rainbow Six meet Sum of All Fears meet Black Hawk Down.

I got really bored in CoD4 and never finished it. That whole "Lets make games really realistic" thing... not my cup of tea.

Man the most frustrating part of the game is where your at the ferris wheel and your broken down sniper pal is all you have against an army of solider. It took me forever until I found a spot where I can camp and shoot all the enemy down until the chopter came in and my buddy did nothing...

i just stayed next to the tree near that other guy, then just plant some clay mores(?) on the other side of the tree and keep an eye on the ferris wheel for those guys that would run up. but i did die a couple of times.

God, I hated that level so much. I planted my claymores at poorly placed positions and the game saved over, so I spent like 3 - 4 freaking hours just trying to survive till the stupid helicopter came in. Eventually I just went to camp at the buildings, where only an occasional 1 or 2 soldiers would spot you. But the problem with that was you couldn't get to the other guy in time and bring him on board. I ran past the soldiers, past the helicopters to that idiot, picked him up, but some people were shooting at me so I dropped him, shot them back, picked him back up...and the chopper took off when it was 5m away.

In the end I just went to hide behind that building beside the ferris wheel. Nightmare level...

*sigh* The worst part is how I thought I saved a copy of my profile before reformatting, but I didn't... ****

game isnt that realistic. you can get shot 50 times and be fine as long as when you start glowing red you just go hide some where. bullets dont affect your movement at all either.

i hated that sniper mission when tons of guys decided to rush at you. I was experimenting and found out i could hide in one of those shacks until the helicopter came. it took a few tries since there were tons of grenades and sometimes they killed me. Once the helicopter came i had to grab him and sprint to the helicopter for life. i was once too slow and they left me

...so? The whole point of video games is to be entertained and to a certain extent, escape from life and give your mind a rest from reality. CoD4 just wasn't fun for me.
