I was trying to get some help from people who have used fraps and got crazy results from it for a video.

This pics looks good in here but i cant even see my UI properly when i see it on my desktop settings.

i have a 22" samsung monitor, with 2 ms amnd 20000:1 contrast ratio.

    Thanks for any help

I'd bet the resolution is higher than your monitor supports. That's why parts are cut off for you - but not on screen shots.

If a LCD screen isn't clear (so clear that you can spot a single MS Paint dot as a single, distinct, non-smudged pixel) you aren't using it's native resolution.

Just max everything and set the resolution to the native resolution of your screen... you have enough power to play WoW at max 10 times over.

I know with that 2ms responsce the the inflated contrast ratio that its a TN panel and not able to show you the 24bit color depth, but that wont make it look bad you will just be rendering colors you cant even see.

As for the UI its probably because your using a custom UI and its not liking the high res/settings. You cant set the game for a res higher than your monitor supports and it wouldn't just go over the edges you would lose your entire signal with an out of range error. Turn off your add-ons and use the stock one and get back with me and say if it was fixed or not.

And please for the love of god thumbnail or shrink your images.

the problem is that you're playing with v-sync on, disable those and you'll be able to up details to max.

v sync is not going to hurt anything, infact on a high end system I very much recommend you use it.

Something's up with your system. I could fully max it out (more than what you have maxed) and get a constant 30+ fps on my four and a half year-old 2.8GHz Pentium 4 system with an 6600 GT. I'm sure if I tried to run it now, I could get a framerate in the 100s. You should try running other games and see if you're getting bad performance like that, you might have a bad GPU or something going on with your system.

vsync is recommended from me as well.... I maxed out WoW with vsync on (I always have vsync on everything... screen tearing makes me cringe) my MBP in OSX and still got a good frame rate.... he should be able to max it out on that GPU no problem.

Make sure that you have the correct refresh rate selected. On my laptop the screen is 60hz but I know for a fact that some desktop monitors are 75hz. If I was to leave the setting on 60hz and hook it up to the desktop monitor it would be all messed up. I'm not at home right now so I can't tell you exactly what it will look like but it will be distorted similar to what you said. So change it to 75hz or and check it out, if it still doesn't look correct check out the other hz options as well.
