i OC with setFSB and its drastically better 20%and up in some games (cod4 for example) than just an GPU OC.

I don't really want to mess around with O/Cing a 8800m because its strong enough for me at the moment.

I dont think any games right now needs overclocking this card to play it in high settings. It is the beast.

I get a pretty nice boost of my 8800m GTX SLI overclocked to 625/1500/950. In Crysis for instance I see the fps rise by an average of 5 fps. Though in Far Cry 2 I see anywhere between 6-10+ fps when overclocked.

I would like number guys. Like 5 fps second or something. Anyone here OCing on nVidia 180.44 drivers. If so how did overclocking it go and how much of an FPS boost do you see from this driver compared to others.

Edit: I just notice 180.48 was released is OCing on it better and how much of an overclocking benefit do you get from using this driver compared to 180.44.

Thanks guys, and please include your crysis FPS diffrences too.

Don't bother overclocking. A safe overclock will be so small as to be unnoticeable, and a noticeable overclock will be so big as to be unsafe (in the long term, temps etc).

use setFSB and OC your proccesor, this also applies a small OC to GFX since your increasing FSB so you kill 2 birds with one stone. I doubt the 8800MGTX is the bottleneck right? Crysis is prolly a pretty CPU intensive game as well (not sure) so setFSB should help.
