I have a Gateway P-6860. Just got Crysis, was wondering what config you guys are using/how your fps is? I wasnt to impressed with the gaming performance on Crysis so far, probably because i have a messed up config. So.. my game rig is in my signature. If you have an 8800M GTS or something of equal value could you like me to the current config that you are using. Thanks :)

be sure to us CCC 2.21.

Its should play at native res.

Whats wrong with all high 1440 900. It runs smooth on those setting for me.

right clikc properties on the shortcut, and at the end add the following:

    -DX9

    that should do the trick.

    as for settings:

without tweaks and configs, use all high but medium: Object detail, shaders and shadows.

try to use 1280x800 resolution, that should give you near 30fps performance.

Shaders should be on high, not medium.

I hate to go off topic but I have a quick question and I saw the opportunity ro ask it here.

For some reason when I try to install CCC 2.21, it says "A referral was returned from the server."

Does anyone here know what this means? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Disregard the above idiocy, I figured it out.

Meberus turn of UAC and restart your computer. Then it should install perfectly.
