I have upgraded just about everything else in my r3 was thinking of doing the gpu next. I currently have the Radeon HD 6870m. What are some of the best gpu's out there that i can put in my r3? I just put in a 2920xm cpu and samsung 840 pro ssd along with 24gb of corsaird ddr3 1600mhz memory, so I'm thinking the gpu that I get will only be limited by itself.

I would actually wait for the new ones to launch, the 8000m and the 700m might provide some minor or medium boosts to performance

I dont really want to pay the price for the latest and greatest unless there is a major performance difference. I am currently only playing wow, just started that a couple weeks ago or so, but would like to have the power to play anything I want on some high quality settings.

the prices of the notebook gpus dont fall that much. So yes, you could get something 2nd hand when people upgrade, otherwise it doesnt matter

So when are the new gpu's supposed to drop? I found out that for the 7970m to work i would have to change something in the bios for my computer which could potentially kill it? I wouldn't be comfortable performing that upgrade myself, not to say i coudlnt' have someone else thats insured do it. Do you think the new gpu's will be the same way? Also if anyone else would like to chime in with some suggestions of the best current gpu's that will work for me it would be much appreciated!
