What are your fav drivers to use for the best gaming experience?
Do you prefer omega, or like to stick with the big boys ATI and Nvidia (via modding e.g DHmod tool), or are you happy with the drivers from your notebook manufacture?

I had a bit of a problem with my M6Ne running 3Dgames (ie they wouldn't). This occured around the time that I upgraded from the omega 2.5.51 to 2.5.58's and installed Doom3. At first I thought it was doom3, tried heaps of different drivers from ASUS, ATI and omega with no luck, & reinstalled XP. Took it back to the shop and they ended up replacing the m/b although they were unable to locate the sorce of the problem. Everything is now fine. Anyways I was just doing a bit of reading (something I perhaps should have done awhile ago) and came across this at omega drivers.

    http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/radeon_omega_drivers.txt

"After installing the new drivers and rebooting, if your desktop is SLOW and games won't run, is because AGP acceleration has been disabled by Windows, in order to fix this you MUST re-install the latest AGP chipset drivers for your Mother Board (this also includes laptops). After rebooting check the Advanced SmartGart Options in the Omega Start Menu and see if at least AGP/PCI read are both ENABLED, if all of them are enabled, the better, but some MBs doesn't support AGP/PCI write functions, if all still disabled, just click on "Retest All" and press OK to restart."

Not sure if this was the cause of my problem, but just incase others are having probs, it maybe a good place to start.
I'm now gonna stick with the ATI drivers, not cause omega does bad stuff, just I'm not good enough tech wise to understand and or fix problems that arise.
    Just my 2 cents worth
