    Ok

Me n my fiance are looking for a game to play online together since we can see each other much. We both are stuck @ college and work :( and a good ways apart...So we are looking for a fun game...

I was wondering what would be the best game for like 2 people to play ...? I am not looking for a huge PVP world or uber pwnage world ...just a laid back game ...

WoW is ok just looking for others

    thanks for any help

try Lord of the Rings Online.

When i played it i thought it was a pretty layed back game. There is almost no pvp its all pve, good story line and IMO the graphics and scenery are excellent for an mmo right now. It also has a good story line.

perfect world is pretty laid back. many things to do and it's not such a grind fest like alot of games. u can earn many levels and equipment from quests and fb's (special dungeon quests). there is also things like dueling, pvp, pk'ing, and territory wars if u and yur gf decide to get more into the game, at a later time. did i mention it's free? :p

guild wars is good, expecially if you have someone to play with through pve, 4 decent story based campains (best i have found for a mmo), lots of different skills and characters, very easy to level up, no grinding needed. its also very cheap now with the trilogy for 50 bucks and eotn for 20. (unless you do pvp you dont need eotn) it also has nice graphics and runs on anything (seriously, i ran it on a single core 1.2 ghz athlon, 512 mb ram and a intel 81450 or whatever)

    i highly suggest it.

I would recommend MapleStory since you could get married in the game.

Above post is kinda weird, but cute. try aion beta it is so amazing (release Sept. 22nd), and you Future wife's character will be prettier than she is now, so you'll get to enjoy it before you realize the corner you put yourself in. Me and my GF play co-op games a lot.

RTS: Battle for Middle-Earth I and II
MMO: free 2 play, yet good, MMORPG's mainly (Silkroad, Perfect World, Jade Dynasty, etc.) because it gets old

Console/Handheld: a lot of multiplayer DS and PSP games.

right now we are playing the new Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce for PSP... quite a good and addictive co-op game for up to 4 people LAN'ed up. :)

I picked up about three PSP's for $40 each within the last couple of weeks... gotta love craigslist.

I'm going to 2nd the Lord of the Rings Online vote. The game makes it possible to do nearly everything in a party of 2 most of the time. You also don't have to have healers for everything. If you have a healer/minstrel you will likely be able to take on everything.

Lots of couples play. Several in my guild that enjoy it with a spouse or significant other.

What do you consider extremely high ping? Also is the latency consistently high or does it jump around alot because that is when it seems to be the most annoying.?
