I was wondering which game holds the best clan system (creating, clan wars, community stuff, etc)? It doesn't matter if its FPS, MMORPG, or whatever neither if its paid or free... I just thought in having fun as a team :p Right now, for example, I play Combat Arms and made my clan, but I gotta pay for a badge emblem and little detalles like that ( I dont like at all)

    any suggestions are welcome guys..

    thanks :D

Best can be defined in many ways.

Plus, how do you compare clans/guilds among different gaming genres?

Best way to find a good clan/guild is to hang around, see how they do, and join. Not "I'm going to purposely be nice to them to join their clan/guild." That is, only if you are looking for somewhere you'd feel like home.

RIGHT, and PC games include SO MANY GENRES (if not all...), like I said in my first post.

    EVE Online.

The corp (clan/guild) can either be supportive and get you far in the game or they can stab you in the back. Or conversely you can stab them in the back (BoB vs. Goonswarm anyone?). How fun is that? :)

I don't know your needs specifically. Competitive and Casual clans/guilds can be found in all online games. Since I play MMO and FPS, that's the only ones I can say.

Any competitive group will have communication. Casual groups will have less. List goes on for Competitive vs Casual.

Easy answer for your easy question.

Eve Online - LOTS of options to control, it will take a few months to you figure out how to use all the options available in the Corporation/Alliance menus.. =P

Guild Wars - You will need a very good leader ( maybe two ) for the clan to succeed, someone with tons of experience and able to speak and give orders in real-time clearly..

I can suggest DDO. Specifically Loreseekers on the Khyber server. Look for Hordo or Idieudie. Tell 'em Stumpy sent ya. Lots of banter and comaraderie in and out of quests. Very supportive, funny, smart (and smart-asses :) ). The game is free to play (just started that) so you may want to check it out and see if it's what you are looking for.

DDO = Dungeons & Dragons Online

DDO is free to play now, btw. A bit dated perhaps and heavily instanced but there is still a faithful following playing the game.

i'd vote guild wars. ive been in about 5 different guilds and the community is absolutely fantastic, if you can get into a decent pvp guild those are even better, they are usually adults only who are willing to help you get better.

With some of the info revealed at blizzcon about guild changes coming in the next wow xpac I think it will be at least competetive with other games. ATM there isn't really any reason to be a guild other than if you are friends in real life but with the implementation of guild achievements, guild only gear, guild talent tress that affect all members, and the like I think it will bring the community much closer together.

I just saw CoD4 is quit hard creating a Clan since it doesn't have it own Clan system thingy... Hope MW2 does have something better for it!
