Where would be the best place to get the current games?

BestBuy usually has the most expensive products that are overpriced...

Any well known online stores that are trustworthy, reliable, and offer the BEST prices for current games, such as Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare for PC*hint hint*?

    Thanks!

Definitely EBGames (if you have it) for the best new and used games for most systems (including PC), a quick site check concludes they do have CoD4.

i don't know about EB in the states, but EB over here, is one of the best, and they will always match prices, even when you don't entirely tell them the truth. :D :D

BB's not that bad. I usually buy discounted/on-sale games there. I picked up the Orange Box for $25 on Black Friday. Didn't have to wait in line either, got it after work.

Heh, a friend of mine was store manager at EB in Australia until a year or so ago.

I don't think he'd agree with you. The staff is generally clueless about games, and lazy/incompetent. It's true about the price matching though.

For Europeans, the choice is simple:
    http://www.play.com
Ridiculously low prices (Often even beats US prices), great selection and free shipping.
What more can anyone wish for? :D

Unfortunately, they don't ship outside Europe. Some of my australian friends use PlayAsia, which is a bit less awesome, but apparently still good...
PlayUSA on the other hand, only sells DVD's, so for games, they're pretty useless...

I really like direct2drive.com. You can download the games as many times as you want and they have sales on a lot of the games right now.

I think that gogamer.com, amazon.com, and the Best Buy coupon are my best options.

Pssh I completely agree. When I was buying the Witcher the guy at EBGames asked me why I wasn't buying Hellgate: london. I essentially told him he was a victim of hype :)

haha, one time the guy asked me if i would like to but the new logitech G11 when it came out, so i asked him if he would like to give me a proper price. (they where charging nearly twice as much as what i could get it for at just about every other retailer) and he said that this price is the cheapest around.................. morale = never believe what they say, especially if they are trying to sell you something. (and i pointed out to all the customers in the store that he was full of ****)

Not really familiar with game purchases...

What's a good place to buy used games? Is it generally a much better deal?
    Thanks.

eBay or Craigslist or forums are the only places that sell used PC games due to serial numbers and such.
And on those sites, you have to be wary that someone is selling it with a serial linked to an account that has been banned, thus making the game worthless.
