No reason to post this twice, man.

Arguably, it'd be easiest to just use the Dell driver. You might not get better performance out of a different driver. Then again, there are people who claim Omega drivers actually increase performance. If you really want to know, try out a couple different drivers and see if you notice a difference.

However, I warn you, be extremely careful with this is. You don't want to screw your computer. Also, if you don't notice a different between drivers, "roll back" to the Dell driver. Sticking to the driver that was made for your particular computer is always safest.

I've tried some Catalyst 7.2 i downloaded from ATI before they took the Vista drivers off, Dell's X1400 Vista drivers, and ATI's 7.4 desktop drivers with mobility moder. I don't really notice a difference in them in performance. The modded desktop drivers seem to cause the screensaver to stick for a couple seconds after waking it up after the monitor has turned off. I'm planning to just switch back to Dell's drivers since their the supported, preferred ones.

im liking mobility catalyst 7.2 the best, i cant find them anywhere though so i had to mod desktop 7.2s. Im getting that screen flicker thing sometimes also but its not a huge deal.
