    Best driver for my laptop GPU?

    Which driver will give the best performance in games for the laptop in my sig?
    I currently have the Catalyst 7.1 drivers, heard it wasn't worth upgrading to 7.2 or 7.3.
    I play games like BF2142, Halo PC, FEAR, Doom 3, Quake 4, Unreal Tournament 04, CoH.
    Are the Catalysts the best drivers? Which version?
    Or should I go with something like the Omega drivers? And which version?

    i dunno about the x1600 but i heard that the Omega drivers gave better fps and scores for the x1400, but they were a bit less stable. I used the omega drivers for the x1400 for a while and didnt notice much a difference so I never bothered to reinstall them after I formatted again.

    I think it's better to stay with the Catalyst.
    I think I have heard the Omega drivers didn't work that well with X1000 series.

    I am using Mobility Catalyst 7.3 and they work pretty good.
