    Because I like them.

    Also because some people experience graphics stuttering on later 174.xx series drivers.

    And you should probably make a habit of reading stickies.

    the new drivers from dell are running very well for me, they actually run better on my machine than the 174.93 drivers.

    I did. Maybe I missed it, but I saw no information about which drivers are best. I did, however, see a lot of information on how to install drivers - which is as of yet useless to me because I do not know which drivers I want to install.

    Because there is no such thing as a best graphics driver. Some lines run hotter/cooler (169.xx/174.xx), but it's a toss up as to what works best for your particular card.

    From my personal experience, 174.74 cannot be beaten.

    i agree, i'm liking 174.74, overclocks well and works with all of my games without a problem

    does the 174.74 run cooler than the driver on the dell site for the xps m1530?

    performance wise its a beast, but if you want a cooler card, you should go with 175.19. 177.35 provides a nice balance between performance and temperature.
