I will second that notion. But the SLI cards in a laptop seems cool...but could kill the cooling for the system. :p

Neither. I'd say go to RockDirect and check out their version of the Sager 5950 (I think thats the number). They call it the Extreme SL.

If you wanna spend 3000 bucks, www.ibuypower.com has a laptop running SLi. The battery life is probably only 45 minutes or so, but it has to run awesome.

We need more information than what you're providing .. if you could complete the FAQ for us, that would be helpful.

I'd skip the Dell if you're considering it and look at the Sager NP5760:

Top-end performance with a Core Duo and Go7900GTX, all in a sturdy and well-designed package.

Best of the Best if you do not mind bulkyness/heavyness, loudness and heat:
    Clevo D900K (aka Sager 9750)
    AMD 64 x2 - 64bit Core Duo w/ 7900GTX vid card

For the Best portable gaming solution with style:
    Clevo M570U (aka Sager 5760)
Intel PM Core Duo - 32bit Core Duo w/ 7900GTX vid Card ("Maybe" possible to upgrade to Merom 64bit Dual Core)

The reccommendations for the Sagers are nice, but if you are actually looking for the BEST gaming notebook as you ask, those only have the 256mb 7900GTX, the Dell has the 512mb one. So it is a bit better
