Since you can use it in normal wheel mode too, you don't need to get used to it if you don't want to!

I've been hearing rave things about the roccat kone+. They are primarily in europe, but performance-pc.com sells them in the U.S. Since they are they only ones (that I know of), they charge higher prices for them. But then again when you convert from euro/GBP to USD, the price premium turns out be like 15-20 bucks from buying in the US.

Also, they are for big hands and more of a palm grip.

well i just got my cyborg r.a.t 5 today and its good so far. the grip feels like the mx518 on the sides, which is a con for me since my mx518 grips usually starts to lose its grip and peel off after a little over a year of use. The buttons are awesome the precision button on the side is awesome when i switch to sniping to slow down the speed so i can shoot more accurately. got it for $50 so not bad.

Click the switch behind the mousewheel. It's not another button, it's a toggle switch that changes the wheel from ratcheting to freewheeling. I use it all the time.

Me too. But while it is great having both settings available, I will admit that in standard mode it is a little iffy compared to the single action wheel of older Logitech mice. It is kind of loose and it require less effort to click it back and forth one notch, so you have to be a little more careful while working it.

Fortunately, that's about the worst thing I can say about it ;) And once you get used to it you don't even notice it. It's not noticeably different than some other mice I've had.

The Razer Abyssus and Salmosa are both pretty popular for fingertip grippers...not sure about wireless though, as those are both wired mice.

yes i got the CM Storm Sentinel Advance 5600 DPI Twin Laser as well, i like it, havent had any issues with it at all. but the one thing i dont like is the wire, it always snags on the side of my desk, and what sucks is there is like a cloth around the wire so after awhile it gets all raggedy and catches the desk even more so i will be getting a new wireless mouse soon, most likely the g700.

so if anyone wants to buy my CM Storm Sentinel Advance 5600 DPI Twin Laser i am selling it for $49.99 i will be listing it on ebay soon as well. it lights up like 5 different colors and can strobe between the colors it is a really cool mouse and matches a alienware computer very well, i got a m17x r2
