Hello everyone! I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum, but it's kind of gaming hardware related.

I've been browsing around for decent mouse pad. I'm looking for:

    - small
    - lightweight
    - durable quality
    - affordable

Steelseries and Belkin seems good so far. What do you guys think? Any feedback is appreciated!

Im using the steelseries medium size.

For the money I think it cant be beat.

Im not a big fan of those super slick almost plastic like surfaces, the steel series is just right, and while it felt cheap & flimsy when I first opened the package, soon as you put it on your desk you notice its perfect.

    No sliding either.

Just don't get the Steelseries SX. Your desk will provide less friction.

I recommend the Rocketfish gaming mousepad. It's durable, aluminum construction, 2 sided, excellent glide and only $20 at BestBuy in the US.

The Razer Vespula is pretty nice. It's got a Speed and Control side, and it's pretty easily portable.

any SteelSeries surface will be great, they have alot of different surfaces with all kinds of different sizes and texture. Id like to recommend the 4HD SteelSeries 4HD - Surfaces

I use an OCZ behemoth mouse pad, but that is not small in any way (it is larger than my laptop...). Honestly for a $6 mouse pad it does perfectly fine; It seems to have a slightly higher coefficient of kinetic friction than my desk, but a slightly lower coefficient of static friction so it is easier to get the mouse moving.

What mouse are you going to be using this with?

I'm using Razer Vespula, it's quite good and the quality is great. But for the price...it sucks.
