    What's the current best, easy to use, monitoring software for GPU and CPU temps? I'm looking for something that has on-screen display of the temps.

    HW Monitor is good and also cpuz/gpuz

    they are all free so just try them and then delete the ones you dont like.

    I downloaded HW Monitor, and I can't see an option to make an on screen display overlay. Does it not have that capability? Also, does it have an option to monitor FPS?

    no it runs in the background so you have to close game page down to see it.

    use fraps to monitor fps (on same page)

    i've always used HWmonitor because of how easy and reliable it was. are u asking for a temp overlay or FPS? i don't recall many, or any, programs that could do a temp overlay like how FPS is done.

    I use RealTemp GT. Its a simple program that monitors both the gpu and cpu temps.
