Im about to get a 1505 with an x1400 and i want to do slight gaming when at tennis tournys what are some good older games that my comp could really run. The only newer game im getting is Oblivion. I might also get Morrowind. When i say older i mean like 2 years ago. Just games that the x1400 could run really well.

It'll probably run just fine on it. Be sure to try out the demo to see if it can actually run before plunking down the money to buy it.

Diablo II and Warcraft III FTW! If you are into Action RPGs and RTS games that is.

I like SW Galactic Gattlegrounds in the rts feild. It's from 2003 but still a very fun game. Can get it for like $10 bundled with the expansion pack. And hey if you like HL2, might as well get a hold of HL1. Its really old but the graphics are surprisingly good; not to mention the game is a blast!

It will run fine. I can play at 20-30 fps with my fx 5500 at 1280 resolution (it gets a 3dmark score of 500). The x1400 gets 1800 so you can expect much better performance than me.

And as I mentioned in another thread. Valve and Steam just released a package that can't be beat so check it out.

Not sure if your a flight sim fan but I have a Dell B120 inspiron and Flight Simulator 2004 runs perfectly fine on that, so I would imagine it would run great on that notebook

Dude if you're into car games that are more simulation than arcadey, THE game is Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed~!!!!

I love it to death and still play it. I lent it to a friend recently. You can pick up a copy for cheap now. You can actually pick up the collection at your local game shop if they still have it. It includes ALL of the past NFS games, but not all of them install on windows XP.

    Cheers,
    Mike

battlefield 1942, much better than the BF2, IMHO, for people who really value the realism and not the sweetness of a game. Forgotten Hope is a nice expansion but would require at least 1gb of RAM or a fast GPU.
