Oh you didn't like Gamespot tearing up the game pretty much saying it's gory but a disappointment?

I haven't tried it yet. And won't for a while. Annon 1404 is addictive.

:p but its 5.5... thts just way too low even for this game. It at least deserves a 7 or so. And i don't like how all the reviews bring the score down because of the alien controls... I find nothing wrong with them. In fact, i find them very easy to get used to.

The worst campaign is the marine one.

I stand with Yahtzee on multiplayer portions of games: the single-player has to stand up for itself. The multiplayer is only as good as the people you're playing with. That's why chess is still such a popular game, despite having terrible graphics, no sound effects (unless you're playing against me), and disjointed gameplay.

Although my opinion may be partially influenced by my total lack of faith in humanity.

The gamespot review didn't like the iffy control system and lack of originality on the single player campaigns, I think that's a valid reason for dragging the overall score down.

Agreed, Gamespot is usually pretty reasonable, IGN gave it a 7 I think, I played it briefly and don't think it deserves any higher than that.

I played the MP demo and found it very meh. And I do agree that the Alien controls are not great. Jumping to different wall/ceilings felt very inconsistent and attacks did too. And the fact that you have 3 SP campaigns that don't even add up to one decent length one? Rebellion has been doing this for a few releases now.

They haven't made anything worth anything since Battlefront for the PSP imo. Not even bothering with this game. Maybe I'll but it for $5 on a Steam sale someday, lol.

I heard all 3 single player campaigns take place on the same map, for all missions.

lol, yes, the entire story takes place on ONE single map.... gotta be one big huge map. :)

I enjoyed the alien campaign the most, predator second, and kinda hated the marine campaign. I loved the plot, but I got annoyed playing as the marine. Killing enemies is so much easier as alien or predator imo.
