It is possible on Low-Medium Graphics on a 720p resolution. BF 2 is Shader Pixel 2.0b, so Arrandale-era Intel IGP's might be able to handle it...

BF2 even ran on Intel GMA 4500mhd, just kinda spiky cause of low ram and a rather slow cpu.

This is a problem with steam, I would buy all games all steam but they don't have every single game available, so what is the point of steam?

Hard copy are nicer but I get tire of having to put all disk on whereas steam let you play as many games as you want and you will never lose them, only problem is you can't sell them back, which is more like a rent that you pay.

I've also run BF2 on 4500MHD Intel IGP and it ran fairly well at low detail, just had to crank view distance all the way up otherwise game isn't all that fair! :D

Heh, I used to play it on a GeForce 6800GS 256MB and a single-core Athlon64 on max graphics with no problems. :D Best multiplayer game I've ever played.
