Core Duo 64 bit Ultra HyperThreading Intel x1 Turbo powered by dilithium crystals.
    67.38 gb of pc9100 ram running @ 900mhz
    Nvidia GeForce Go 9800xtzsxxxxzrtx w/ 2gb dedicated
(count the number of grass blades in your front yard)gb's of HD space

And thats just the required. For optimal performance you'd want something much more powerful of course.

I'm wondering if the x1600 could handle this game at high settings? Hmm, help?

X1600 is a midrange card, but if BF2142 is about as demanding as FEAR, then it should run the game quite well at decent (some medium some high) settings at say, 1280x800 resolution. Of course, it depends on the computer you're using and how much dedicated VRAM you have.

Actually, is saw the video at gamespot, and it from what i heard/seen there won't be a drastic change in system requirement they are only using "modified" engine of the bf2 (add weather effect, sharper images, etc.). They said that this would allow more people to play the game.
