I need some helping on which one the Go 7700 or Go 7600, is the a big difference between them? I'm sure 3d mark tests will have higher numbers for the 7700, but I really don't unterstand the numbers. So, if some one could tell me in terms like "Big time difference, Medium, not enough to tell, etc.." it would greatly help.

And how future proof are the cards? 2-3 years before they are out-dated? sooner? Thx for any info

The 7700 is just a refresh of the 7600, no huge difference at all, as for being outdated, with DX10 emerging, its technically outdated now, however it should be a viable card for at least another year, longer depending upon your needs, if you can live with lower settings it'll keep you going for pretty long while.

As mentioned, they are the same level of cards. The go 7700 has the superior hardware and configuration though...and definitely better benchmarks. Either will be fine for gaming for a while...and if you want a notebook smaller than 17", you don't really have a choice anyway.

7600 and 7700 are almost the same card, the 7700 just doesn't use quite as much ppwer as the 7600 but puts a fractional amount more preformance.
