Star Wars the Old Republic because I expect Bioware to make an amazing MMORPG. Crysis 2 looks fun, but I'll probably get the 360 version so I can play with friends.
-
Better question: Which one(s) of those will get delayed?
My bet: Deus Ex. -
This was a triumph
I'm making a note here:
huge success!
It's hard to overstate
my satisfaction
Aperture Science:
We do what we must
because we can
For the good of all of us
(Except the ones who are dead)
And believe me, I am still alive
I'm doing science and I'm still alive
I feel fantastic and I'm still alive
While you're dying I'll be still alive
And when you're dead, I will be still alive
Still alive; still alive
That's all I have to say. -

I cant wait for Metal Gear Solid: Rising coming to the PC next year (2012). Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, Portal 2, Fear 3, Darkspore, and Mass Effect 3 for 2011Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
Deadspace 2
Bulletstorm
Duke nukem forever
Portal 2
Arkham City -
I am waiting for Arkham Asylum 2, you know that game will be epic!
I almost forgot to mention Spiderman Shattered Dimensions too. -
Well, I think looking beyond a few months is optimistic as far as games that will release on time. Hence sticking with H1 2011. I'm anxiously waiting Battlefield 3, but I won't hold my breath even for the promised Oct 2011 timeframe. I'm also still waiting on Half-Life 3, but I won't go there.
-
Duke Nukem Forever could possibly come out during the first half so I'm anticipating that one the most. I will eventually pick up Crysis 2 sometime as well. Did not know about Shattered Dimensions, I know the PC version is a Wal-Mart exclusive so I guess it'll be available for PC everywhere else this year?
-
The only games I'm really looking forward to are Deus Ex and Warhammer: 40,000.
What I'm not looking forward to is how games are still designed for 2005 XBOX 360 hardware but ported to run on 2011 PC hardware. -
Brink and Homefront interest me a bit. There's also Breach on Jan 26 from the makers of Six Days in Fallujah.
-
dow 2: retribution
warhammer 40k space marine
shogun 2
witcher 2 -
So far only really looking forward to Shogun 2, the rest - not so much. Damn, Shogun 2 was supposed to be released in Feb, it got pushed back to March.
-
Portal 2!!!!!
-
Mass Effect 3!!!
-
Killzone 3
Crysis 2
Portal 2
NFS Shift 2 -
I really hope the new Clevo models with Sandy Bridge and the new graphics cards come out sooner rather than later. This year is incredible for the number of great games released.
My list:
Dead Space 2
Shogun 2
Witcher 2
Heroes VI (?) -
I'm interested into playing the Dawn of War 2 games, but so far I've got no time.
-
Retribution, Space Marine, and Dragon Age II are my planned purchases for Q1.
I need to finish Dead Space and start The Witcher. -
Homefront - Red Dawn was one of the coolest movies in high school (no offense John Hughes), and now you finally get to play Jed. I liked the setting in World in Conflict (RTS), but there was really no emotional (story) involvement. This is probably my most anticipated FPS of 2010 which means it will fail. Will probably coincide with the release of the re-make of Red Dawn.
Hunted: Demon's Forge - I loved Demon Stone. Three different character types (warrior, mage, thief/assassin) in a 3rd person action game with lite RPG elements and a fantastic setting. I think that Hunted will be the next gen re-make of Demon Stone. Ever since God of War, I'm a sucker for 3rd person action games.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - My favorite sci-fi/fantasy based universe (and at the risk of being accused of trolling, I would suspect the folks at Blizzard enjoyed their fair share of the W40K miniatures game). Up until now, other than the two Space Hulk games and Fire Warrior, all the video games based on this universe have been strategy (turn-based or real-time). Now, a 3rd person action game (see above) with W40K as a backdrop. I can't wait. -
I can't wait to finally take direct control of the Emperor's killing machine. -
the only game that i'm awaiting for is half life 3 !!! (make it happen gabe!!)
-
Got dragon age 2 on pre order with all the bonuses, other then that ill maybe pick up dead space 2, currently got about 30 games I haven't even played that are all top titles..

Firefall.
It is a free-to-play shooter that looks to have production values of a blockbuster title. Borderlands meets Gears of War meets Crysis. Epic.

Portal 2, maybe homefront or witcher 2? Steam sale bonanzas will largely depict what I pick up, as they did in 2010...
-
Went back to play rome TW again while waiting for Shogun 2, just can't get tired of watching rains of arrow and hordes of riders charging in and slaughtering thousands.
-
Ok, so now I'm looking forward also to Il-2: Cliffs of Dover.

But what ever happened to Storm of War Battle of Britain? Or is this the labor of that love? I kinda lost track of the sim world since I don't get into it much any more even though I'd love to. Just can't get my $300+ HOTAS setup out for fear of my little rugrats destroying it.
-
-
-
Portal 2 and Crysis 2 baby. They might be the first games I get at launch price. We'll see.
-
IL-2 Cliffs of Dover seems it's published by Ubisoft. Oh no! Please don't tell me it has the "phone home" DRM.
-
Uh oh, I'd say the chances of it having that DRM are through the roof.
-
-
The only games I am waiting for this year are BF3 and updates to BC2. That is it, that is all.
-
Portal 2 the most, The Old Republic (will probably ruin my social life), BF3, TDU2, Homefront... also, that Firefall game looks pretty neat.
-
I can't wait for BF3, although that still seems like it is a ways off still. Hopefully my pitiful excuse for a gaming laptop will be able to play it...
-
I'm waiting anxiously for Dragon Age 2 although I'm concerned with some of the changes they are implementing.
The Old Republic sounds like a load of hype and from the reports sounds like wowc cookie cutter nonsense. Oversimplistic rubbish.
