I just installed bioshock and the game won't start at all. Gives no error whatsoever but it just wont start.

Bioshock process comes in the task bar but does nothing.

    I have a Vostro1500 C2D T5470 with 2 gig ram and 8600GT.

I am running 163.75 nvidia drivers

    Thanks

    Did you patch DirectX?
    (august 2007 patch or later)

    Without it, DX10 won't launch.

    Will it launch in DX9?

You mean the patch that comes in the Bioshock disc? something vs_ _ _ forgetting the complete name?

If you are talking about that one, yes I patched it.
