Throughout the entire gameplay video he was playing as a big daddy. Had the rivet gun, gloves, could breath under water etc. Looks cool, I really liked the first. Graphics wise it looks exactly the same as the first, which my PC averaged 180fps in maxed out so not a problem there..

    Actually its 1950's... =P

But like you mentioned, it seems people either liked the old (I would say eccentric) atmosphere and some other people don't. Quite a game that polarized opinions.

Can you say Left 4 Dead + Bioshock?

If I can blast through a wall or window and go into another building... I will definitely buy this game!

But the first one was so stupid walking down an obviously straight corridor etc... it just got really annoying... and the "cheats" like slomo were so buggy and uncrontollable and irreversible!!!

Not to mention my game got stuck at the 2nd level because everything was pitch black! Just pitch black, I could hear stuff and shoot and all, but for 30 minutes I kept reloading the save and trying to figure it out, I went back and replayed the whole first level and... NOTHING! YAY!!!

^^ Above poster. I found the first one great. No problems it was fun. However I do think bioshock should be a more explorable game, that would make it perfect.

BUT DADDY, I WANT IT NOW! Ompa Loompa Doopity Dee. Lol.

Seriously it looks amazing and I wish I could have it now.

Woot! :D If Bioshock 2 is half as good as the first one, it will still be an awesome game! :D

    and:

To me, thats actually what made it great, different... the atmosphere.
And the old music is so cool and turns that atmosphere, i would say, perfect.

Same here. I think the environment looks the same, which is fine by me. Played great on my machine too! As long as they don't ruin it by making it a bad PC port. Chances are since it will be a console game too, they probably won't improve the graphics a whole lot so requirements should be similar.
