    Hi guys,
I was playing bioshock yesterday. THen it suddenly stop working. it looks like everything was at high setting. i was getting 30 to 40 fps while i was playing. Many of you said that when you video card overheat the laptop restarts itself. For the me game crashed. I check my temp and it was at 46 degrees. Does the temp drops fast once you stop playing games. THis is the only game that has crashed on me. I have played bf2, cod4, crysis, gears of war and nothing like this. Can't explain it. Anyone did have this problem with bioshock. I am going to try and change the setting. I usually play the game straight without changing the setting.. Thanks. for any response.

Bioshock crashes, it's a fact of life. Google Bioshock Crash and you will see. It's not your video card.

make sure to use stable drivers, and update the game to 1.1

and its usually good to defrag or install the game on a new HDD to prevent these crashes.

I actually experienced the crashes... then I installed the game again on my external 2.5" HDD (new 120GB in enclosure) and it works fine with no crashes.

My Bioshock also crashes ! :(
I updated to version 1.1 (patch) and then the problems started:
The game starts up (not always good because sometimes it's only a part of my screen) and when i click on new game/continue/load game the games loads and i hear the music, after a few seconds the screen freezes (but music still plays) and the game is blocked (crashed)...
