    Hi everyone,

Im running an acer aspire 5920G with the latest nvida drivers supplied on the acer site for my graphics card Geforcen8600m GT 512 MB. The drivers are on 7.15.11.119, downloaded from acer.

I want to apply the new nvidia forceware driver so I can play the Bioshock demo in Directx10. It plays in directx 9 but crashes to the famous black screen in direct x 10 mode.

The laptopvideo2go website is down at the minute so I cant get on it to get the modified driver for laptops...INF file change. I cant find a link anywhere else on the web for the update....but from reading alot of u already have the files and are running the game.

Id be really greatful is someone could upload the file change.

    Thanks in advance

    i tried 169.04 , .09 , .12 and still i cannot play bioshoc in dx10
it only starts if i play it in dx9 so ...i really don't understand why nvidia will not make drivers for laptops .

when the 8800gtx for laptops with come out ... what then ? what if i find out that i cannot play any of the new games because of the stupid drivers ...

i only have my laptop for 4 days , and i hate it already for this . it was a bad choice to buy a laptop instead of a way better desktop at the same money

I have Bioshock and it runs great with Dx10 and maxed specs, it ran even with my stock driver, I have 169.09 and it fixed some bugs. This is for Vista 32 bit only, http://rapidshare.com/files/72985297/169.09.zip This is the file with inf already installed. Let me know how it works out.

I hope its implied that you are running Vista when attempting to use DX10.
