Bioshock released today!

Thanks to Toys R us for breaking the release date. Take 2 and 2K games decided to go ahead and release the game today! Also published new commericals of bioshock saying " Available Now!"

So far only Toys R us is selling it, but by the end of this week all major stores will sell!

Yay! If I only had a 360. Might want to edit the thread title to say this is only for Xbox owners.

 

No i think toys r us is just pulling a wallmart (See: Nintendo DS lite). I would assume this is for the 360 because they dont sell anything for the PC that isnt massivly marketed by a TV/Movie company and the sims.

 

So is this only the X360 version again or the PC version as well?

 

By the end of the week pc should be out, but for right now its xbox 360

 

Well I preordered it last week. I just called GameStop today and the woman told me it won't be released until the 21st. This sucks for me .

I really think most stores are confused to what to do. Its like everyone is starting to pre-order pretty much and playing the demo, then all of a sudden it got released with no warning

 

Hopefully they'll decide to release it before Friday. I really need something to tie me over until I get my lappy.

 

Im going to my local Toys R Us to see what they are doing. I wish it would be out for pc!

I just saw bioshock at my wal-mart in both xbox and pc sections. Right now I don't have the money for it right now

Really? Man, if that's true, that would kick serious amounts of ass.

Over on the Bioshock forums there is chaos and confusion about the issue, and supposedly there will be some official update on the matter soon.

erm, i'd hate to ask but will my system play it on the lowest settings? i had a look on the sys requirements on steam and and i think it pretty much hits the minimum requirements,

 

I guess we will see when the demo is released.

 

this game is great.

 

It does look promising, I messed around with the 360 demo, I for one cannot play FPS's with a gamepad, so I didnt get to involved in it, but what I did see I liked.
