    Anyone getting an impressive abyssmal void when looking into your lcd screen after playing, starting , or ending a game? When i start Civ 4 or age of empires 3, or end sims 3 I get a blackscreen that cant be fixed some ppl say ctrl alt del, or windows and l for lock but that doesnt work for me unless i wait 10 minutes.

    stats:
    260m Gtx, Sager8662 stock with 4gb ram ddr3 2.53 processor duo
    this is not the result of undervolting since it happened before hand. could it be b/c im running 64 bit win 7?

    other than that cysis, sims 3, tom clancy hawx, dynasty warriors 6 WOW all run like butter cut by a hot knife.

    it must be to do with the games then. must be very slow in closing the game.
    i just loaded counter strike source from steam a few days ago and after playing it in the evening when i turn on next day the screen resolution is still stuck on 1024x768 but it doesnt do this for any other game.

    i was hoping there was a way to fix it like running in compatibility mode or something but that doesnt work. and googling the issue doesnt give permanent results

    nvm i fixed it by downloading the direct x end user runtime package. now all the games work fluidly.
