    Blacks ops, Good frame rate after fresh win7 install, next day lag.

    Hello all

    I really don't understand what is going on with black ops, i format and re-install windows 7 so it's new a fresh, install black ops, i get a constant 60 fps +

    Next day or so, it bogs down to 30fps in the lobby area of zombies, what the hell is wrong with this piece of crap?

    I have isntalled a few other things since installing black ops, but this should not impact the performance of it.... could it be anything else i'm installing for other games such as different directx runtimes etc?

    Really beginning to get on my nerves.

    P.S i always make sure i'm running in high performance etc.

    I have got no answer for that.. its just weird... All i can say is reinstall your ATI drivers and install all the directx runtimes.

    I actually got this between install, one time it was running perfectly finished the game, and uninstalled. Installed again a month latter, and it was a lag fest. The game is poor in every way

    I read on Amazon reviews and Steam forums that it's just a "bad console port". Also read that "online play is laggy no matter how powerful your computer/broadband is".

    I feel really sad because I wanted to buy this game. I guess I'll just be playing it on my bro's xbox.

    Check your config file for the following:


    seta r_multithreaded_device "1"
    seta r_multiGpu "0"

    They should be set like this. If it's differently change it.
