Blizzard announces Overwatch, a new competitive FPS - PC Gamer
It looks like a Blizzard-fied version of Team Fortress, which I think is a good thing.

MOBA / FPS I would say...

looks interesting. Will keep an eye on.

Could be fun. Could also be so brutally cutthroat that casual players like me can't really scratch the surface of competition. I guess we'll see.
Mainly, I think the interesting thing is that Blizzard is introducing new IP, for the longest time in...gosh, I don't know. When's the last time Blizzard released a game that didn't involve the Warcraft universe, the Starcraft universe, or the Diablo universe? The Lost Vikings series?maxheap likes this. -

This game looks really promising to me. I don't like Team Fortress 2 due to the gameplay, but these looks actually nice, and some very interesting classes. And there sure are a lot of them.
Also appreciate the cartoonish graphics. Nice colors, good looking and not very demanding Performance wise.
I hope this game plays as good. Already signed up for the beta -
I'll play this game just for the satisfaction of slaughtering hordes of inexperienced FPS players that make up the bulk of the Blizzard fan base.

Lots of rumors that this is Titan stripped of the MMORPG elements that just weren't working out (Blizzard apparently shut down the Titan project after determining that it wasn't actually fun). What little we know about the setting of Titan, this seems to fit. But instead of a complex-and-burdensome MMO system where you maintain both a normal life and a superhero life, it's just a class-based multiplayer shooter with the superhero characters.
If the rumor is true, this seems like a sensible way to salvage some of the Titan work and turn it into something fun for the consumer.
