Ok so yesterday it was a green pixel line. It was really random because it just appeared out of nowhere after restarting from hibernate. Then it went away after a restart. Now I just turn on my laptop and boom, this time its blue and it wont go away.

This is also a brand new screen, I had a replacement done by ASUS last week for a new one due to some pixel problems. Its like 8 days old. So is it a GPU problem?

I doubt it, it may still be a screen problem.
Does the line still sits there when youre gaming? Best way to see if its the gpu is to fire up a game you play alot to test different resolutions.
Eg if youre playing a game at 1080p and the line still there, switch to much lower resolution like 720p.
If the line gets thicker or it moves from when it was originally to the left or right then its the gpu. Otherwise if the line keeps its behaviour like always its the screen.

Does it change when you manipulate the screen?

also try an external monitor. if its still there its most prob the graphics card and if its not it could be the replacement screen.

Its the LCD guys. Its fine on an external display.
Sigh...and 8 days after i replaced the LCD too

The line went from green to blue to purple to red. It will change after each subsequent restart after my notebook is off for a couple of hours.

might be worth unplugging the ribbon and putting it back in just in case its a loose connection especially as its new.

That might void the warranty if there are stickers around.

There's almost never stickers, in Asus screens.
