I think i'm gonna wait till they offer a deal on all the DLC's through steam. I don't wanna pay 10 for each one, and then 2 weeks after the final one is released, they offer all of them 25 bucks or something like that (great steam deals, ya know).

Looks great. I have yet to buy Borderlands DLC for the same reasons mentioned, I am gonna wait for a package deal and then play them one after another for a whole new game! ;-)

Well its not bad that you guys waited, some of the major issues only recently got patched.

But its a fun game despite its flaws; the other DLCs were only "so-so". This one though is pretty much what most of the Borderlands fans have been asking for since the game launched.

Err... well lets hope it is lol. :D

zombie island was better than the actual game IMO.

armory is harder than every other thing combined so far. i didn't die this many times through 2 playthroughs. those ninja chicks are rough.

I loved borderlands, I think I was kinda leading the charge with how great I thought the game was. However I tired of it kinda quickly when I maxed out all 3 char classes and just owned up the entire game with ease.

The DLC content didnt seem too appealing to me because I knew I would tear trough it fast and I HATE to pay $10 for some minor content extension when I only paid like $30 for the full game.

But honestly there is only 1 really big reason I dont play, the lack for eyefinity support. I have those 3x24" monitors at home and with so many really good games that support them, borderlands does not and I cant stand to play with just 1 screen and have the other two go to waist. The level of enjoyment playing on 3 screens can make a bad game better than a good game on just 1 screen :D

What game did I replace borderlands with? Well my favorite game to play is Dirt 2 probaby, but in the FPS genre I usually play Serious Sam HD, I like how fast and easy it is to just join a game and have some fps chaos and a lot of fun.

What major flaws have recently been fixed BTW? I never had any issues with borderlands other than the slow game server issue and that was fixed almost right away, and I hate low lvl players joining my high lvl game (but I found how you can kick them)

Add me to the list of people waiting for cheaper DLC or some kind of package deal though. I do like the game enough to buy the extra content if its large enough and not just some new gun textures and a few new maps, but $10 each is a bit ridiculous. I guess I am spoiled by the free DLC from games like Team Fortess 2 series. I feel thats how it should be done, sell your game, then keep your people with content added once in a while. Not sell content at regular intervals and make them ultimately play 2x the price of the game or more for the full game that you probably had planned out the entire time.

Not yet. I just tried it this week but I've met the most inconsiderate online players so far. Everytime I play online, bunch weebos running around fast as they can to get free loot, then never wait up for others to gather up for the fight, wipe. Then rage quit. Been like this over and over and I just got fed up.

Maybe I'll try again if I can convince some online buddiesto give it a go, but they aren't interested either.

I have to say, once you go eyefinity, there is no going back playing on one single screen unless the game is epic. I tried playing FEAR 2, but on one monitor only i felt like I was playing on a psp. NO GOING BACK EVARZ!

Anyway good to know it doesnt work, i was interested in Borderland.

I love this game, but I'm very hesitant to replay the whole game again (after having beaten it twice) just for a little added content...

Exactly. Though I wonder if you can just jump right into it since you access the level/maps via the warp portals (or whatever they are called)?

I don't have my saved games anymore, because I bought a new computer just two months ago, and all the stuff from my old computer that aren't important I didn't keep... If I had my saved game I wouldn't mind reinstalling the game and start playing again.

Yeah me and a few chaps tried various hacks and work arounds. We got the resolution and FOV to fit but the menu zooms and makes it impossible to use, the sprint function has a fisheye effect that gets worse in higher FOV's and the most game breaking problem of all is using weapon sights zooms back into default FOV so your regular 1x zoom is like 500x zoom due to the FOV change making it impossible to play. Oh and vehicles have there own FOV too that cant be changed so you see only part of the car and its hard to drive.

Definitely not a eyefinity game, I wish the developers would try to patch it.
