I haven,t played it yet on PC. Only 360. Can everyone post FPS with fraps, game settings and hardware setup?
Also comparing 360 vs PC, graphically which is better and why?
Thanks!

Hustheman, I know I can run it. I know it runs on the unreal 3 engine. I am just curious to see what everyone's fps and res on the game.
hardware:
AW m17
p8600 c2d @ 2.7mhz
hd radeon 3870 crossfire
160gb hd 7200
2 gb ram @1066
1900x1200
Thanks,

With everything on max (1680x1050, no AA), It runs pretty bad on my setup. I'm talking between 20-40FPS, but moreso in the 20FPS range.
To me, it's kinda unplayable as the larger battles become pretty hard with such a low FPS.
However, if I turn off Ambient Occlusion and Depth of Field, I can maintain a healthy 40-60FPS throughout.
I have to say I was pretty disappointed with how it runs. I've played many games using the Unreal 3 Engine, and this game seems to perform the worst. -
I play it at 1440x900 with everything turned on and high, but with dynamic shadows turned off, I get about 40-60 average fps, and the game looks nice.

Outstanding! Thanks to everyone so far. So... to review at this point...
Avg cpu 2.0 - 2.6 core 2 duo and core 2 quad
Gpus- most around medium high to high (notebookcheck's list)
FPS from low 20s to 60s based upon medium or high in game settings (resolution plays a factor of course).
So, the next question is as follows... Does the game scale well?
Meaning if you play at 1900x1080 and get 25 fps avg. Does the FPS increase significantly at 1440 x 900? 1280 x 1050?
Space ambient settings seem to play weigh heavily in the game. Disabling seems to increase FPS a bit. No AA is a given to maximize FPS.
The reason I ask these questions is to eventually allow someone to create a master thread, and put all the information relating to performance to this game. That way others thinking about purchasing it can make an informed decision.
I would also want to compare exactly what settings does an xbox 360 play it at? 1280 x 800? AA and AF? Settings at medium? Shadows? (just guessing here)
Thanks for everyone's replies so far! Really appreciate it. Like most here I prefer games on PC but I have this one on the Xbox due to release date. -
Playing on a 2.8 Quad Core/8 GB RAM/Geforce GTX 260.216 OC/Vista x64
I'm wishing they had vsync, because even with SSAA/8x, it's tearing. I turned it on in the video drivers and it is better, but this is the first game I can say is *too* optimized
Runs like butter, and I'm about to turn the settings up again so I don't have to deal with tearing.

60fps in normal 1920x1200 but can get as low as 20's when I triple it to 5760x1200 so the game is more demanding than I imagined.

all maxed out except field of depth I did not like that effect. -

40-60 fps all options maxed 1920x1200, including Ambient Occlusion turned on.

I'm playing it on my desktop mainly, and it runs without any sort of framerate hiccup, hitching or stuttering. I have all the settings on/maxed at 1680x1050, no AA.
I tried it on my laptop and the highest playable settings were 1280x800 with shadows off and 8xAF. I'm betting if you turned the AF off, it would be about on-par with the Xbox360 version. -
Am I right in assuming there is a benchmarking tool included with the PC version? Would anyone know if there is anyway to get that as a standalone so that people (such as myself) can test there systems?

Is that a single 5870 your running ?. -
I'm really curious how well its going to play on my laptop. Has anyone with a 7805u tried it yet? I've got it downloaded but got some free tickets to a Jewel concert here in Charlotte and I am taking my girl. Can't beat free. I did go through the starting cutscenes after setting it to 1920 by 1200 and it looked great. No stutter or anything. I'm sure it will get insane. This may be the game that actually makes me upgrade my processor to a T9900 or something depending on price and performance.

I would be willing to turn down some stuff from high to medium if I had too because there is not a large difference. -
Yeah but sadly the only thing i have seen nailing the performance is the Dynamic shadows.. Everything else is giving a frame or 2 at best from my testing although i didnt enable ambient occlusion at all since im not a fan
..
Im sure once you throw a second card in there the problem will be solved..

I have been playing it on 1 monitor due to how it does not properly support 3 screens but I think today I'll give 3 screens another shot.
Except for the esc menus and the horrible zoom on the guns and stuff, the tab menu works fine and so does the FOV after I bind it to a key.
One issue I have to mess with some is when you run it zooms to a fisheye and larger FOV, playing with a 142 FOV on 3 screens I guess it goes to the point of no return and actually inverts the screen when I run and goes crazy tunnel vision, the effect is exponentially worse in the higher FOVs past say 110 or so.
So I binded a lower FOV to my shift key to fix it, but have to toggle it back when I am done running so thats the annoying part and main reason I stopped using 3 screens for a while. -

Are you playing ultra wide fov too? or just hate it even with normal 1 screen?
I did find a line in the input.ini that is under the header of cameradebug and it has something about shift key doing zoom. Not sure what but I deleted that like and it still zoomed out on me.
But also now after playing on one screen for a few days I wanted to go back to three screens today so I added my FOV 110 bind back to the shift key and tried to bind FOV 142 to the right mouse key, and both do not work. When I had the shift key bind working before. So I do not know what changed but I cant combo bind the FOV to a key like I did before. @ 110 FOV on the shfit key when I would run it would reduce the FOV in game setting but then running backs it out again making it go mostly unchanged except that strange fisheye view that happens, but the most important thing is that it prevented the screen from going upside down.
The annoying thing was changing the fov back from 110 to 142 after I run, I had that on the F12 key, never thought to make it an easy to use key like right mouse so I would keep the game @ 142 at all times without thinking about it. But now its not working -
