    Oblivion

Not started a game yet (2 months and counting) but I hear it is good :D

F.E.A.R, Far Cry, HL2 are the usual suggestions for FPS

Oblivion is awesome. As you can see from my specs below I don't play it on my notebook, rather my 360 but either way it rocks. I have logged 97 hours since 05-01-2007. I have Gears, Lost Planet, and Viva Pinata for the lady but I can't get away from oblivion until I'm done. I'm doing the Gates to Oblivion Aid for Bruma quest right now.

For RTS C&C3 looks pretty awesome.

yeah hl2 and episode 1 are solid. u might have to lower ur details, i.e. resolution and lighting details, but its still a very solid game even at lower details.

Yeah I bought it and the rest of the expansions, it's the only expansion I have left. I did the knights of the nine, the orrery, frostcrag spire (which is worth every penny both real and fake) and I was going to do the isles, but I decided to finish the main quest, take a few months break and the go back and finish the isles. I heard it's very weird and freaky looking!

JUST GO FOR "LOCK ON : MODERN AIR COMBAT" MAN!!!

thats the best game ever ( i have not yet played it :p cos i bought it 2 years ago, but still not improved my "wooden" laptop. :D )

it has graphics + wonderful community + nice scenery + a few planes + awesome graphics (again).

    - There is also Falcon 4: allied force, but this game hasnt got really nice graphics. it is more like a Tool instead of a game, cos its so freaking difficult. [IMG]

    - By no means forget about WW2 planes. I thought as you did before buying Il2 sturmovik collection. Believe me, WW2 planes are more interesting and fun to play, cos its not just about launching a missile and going back to base. Furthermore, the il2 and Pacific Fighters community is just AWESOME. Graphics are quite good as well.

Ace Combat 6 is looking awesome. I am considering getting it, if there's a PC version, that is.
