    Any chart exist that shoes the minimum CPU you should have to NOT bottleneck the GPU?

    And what CPU will not bottleneck the 8800M GTX and GTS?

    I have been hearing alot from the Gateway owners etc... but nothing much on higher end CPU's paired with 8800M GTS and GTX

    a t7500 would be best for the 8800

    any core2 should be ok with a 8800... processor isnt that important when playing game at high res

    I'll assume you've never read this chart before nor have you ever made the effort to search for it.

    I'll keep the answer short since your only obsession is Crysis and other FPS games:

    1. Merom CPUs with at least 4MB cache
    2. Any Penryn processor (preferably the 6MB cache ones)

    Either of the above will not be a bottleneck to the 8800 series cards.
