    My specs:

    ASUS G1S-X1
    Core 2 Duo T7300
    4GB DDR-667 RAM
    8600m GT 256MB DDR3
    3DMark06 score: 4947
    video driver: Dox's 182.50 w/PhysX on

I can run Crysis Warhead at 1280x800, avg 35fps but with Brothers in Arms HH, at that same res, I average like 23fps.

Why? I have everything but the textures at the absolute lowest. Changing the texture setting in-game (low, med, high) doesn't seem to affect the performance so its not a lack of vram.

It runs slower if I turn the PhysX off, so I keep it on.

    What is it?

i know this is off topic
    but is 8600m gt 256 mb ddr3 better than 9600m gt 512 mb ddr2 ??
because i get like 17 fps in crysis warhead at 1280x800 (mainstream).....(same drivers)

No, my system is just highly optimized (software-wise) and I use special configs for Crysis Warhead. Search the forum for "
    Crysis configs".

Not sure exactly, but I don't get great performance in Brother in Arms HH on either of my machines. The SLI 8600's in my Toshiba run it acceptably, but not great. I think it goes back to the unreal engine it uses, and it's just not a great performer the way they have it setup.

Curious, does dropping the resolution help at all, or is it just capped at 23?

I wasn't able to find any great tweaks either... not a huge fan of the engine.

My card gets 4080 in 3dmark06 so maybe the ddr3 8600m gt is stronger than the ddr2 9600m gt...

3Dmark06 scores are sometimes misleading because some people do not benchmark it at the same resolution... due to the limitations of their monitor.

it should be 1280x1024 by default.

and one should not just post the total score... to get better comparison post:
    - SM2.0
    - SM3.0/HDR
    - CPU Score
