Every 20 seconds or so, at full graphics, this fantastic game seems to freeze in time for half a second before continuing. It makes the game of lesser quality than it deserves - any suggestions?

what happens if you turn down the graphics settings?

also, make sure you've shut down all unnecessary background processes.

It's the same. I can run Battlefield 2 at full graphics and other applications with no problem what-so-ever. Hell's Highway is the only game I've ever seen any problems with on my Alienware.

8800m is more than enough for this game...
maybe something is slowing it down...
turn off ur virus protections and other background applications..
if it doesnot work then just reinstall...the game then OS

Alright mate, what you need to do is download a program called Nhancer and then run it under the profile Mass Effect. (i.e. Where it says executable add Hells Highway exe)
I had the same problem and it work a treat.
