I was thinking about getting it on Steam. Read the forums there and some complain about 3rd person view when taking cover. So I don't know yet. Post a review when you get it.

I've got it, it's not bad at all.... I wish it was a bit more optimized engine wise, but it runs fair enough. Is a good looking game, and is very cinematic (TONS of cutscenes), but if you like story and with the machine listed in your specs you should be fine.

I'm not very far into it yet, so don't want to say too much as I just don't know, but so far I like the 3rd person cover and feel of the game. Excited to get more into it when I have time.

I will review it as soon as i complete it, (approx tomorrow night) my only hope is the game isnt another crappy game that is trying to use Unreal Engine 3 with the wrong way (IE:Turok)

Oh btw be77solo and brainer can you let me know if the game supports the xbox 360 controller. sometimes I just want to lie down on the bed and game.
Also Be77solo what do you mean more optimized? Does the framerate drop below 24 fps more than 50% of the time? I had the x205 sli1 and it's about 40% less powerful compared to the x305, but I loved that beast till it got stolen. If you let me know how good the framerates are and about how much it averages then I can better guage how it'll run on the x305. thanks.

I rented it and completed it yesterday.

Quite repetitive gameplay, but still quite fun. The story is ok i guess, its basically one random mission after another held together by the main characters, but its shown in the longest cut scenes you'll ever see ,most of them take several minutes and you can't skip them when you watch the the 1 time!
Sometimes they were just annoying- You're ready to kill some more germans and Bam! 3 minute cut scene.

If you like WWII then its a good game,as i said it provides some fun, but i wouldn't consider buying it.

i've been playing it, and it's not bad. the only problem i have is that it puts a marker over all the enemies, which seems more like a cheat.

You can go to the options and turn that off. My problem with the game is the whole squad controlling system. I never liked it in any game and I never will. I think it slows down the pace of the game and worrying about my squadmates is not something I want to do either.

the controls are kind of odd also. space to run, what's that? i'm just used to it being shift.i don't like messing with the controls too much cause when i do i forget some things, or make it really messed up.

You'll be fine performance wise with the x305, my x205 runs it ok, so you'll do even better. I'm fussing a bit because I was messing with it on my tablet, and there's just simply hardly any video options to tweak or change, and is a bit annoying.... but it will run fine for you.

As for the 360 pad, it works great and has native support... automatically detects and sets it up for you, so good to go on that front... obviously a nod from the console side of things, as even menu buttons are setup for the 360 controller.

*edit, final note: There are quite a bit of cutscenes, atleast at the start, definately not just a pick up and play for a few minutes game, but other than that a fun experience thus far.
