This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Do any of the laptops have dx10 cards and are the quadro cards just rebranded geforce cards?

    At least 4 upcoming HP business notebooks will be DX10, and both the Dell D830 and D630 have DX10 card options.

    Quadro cards are GeForce cards that have been optimized for workstation-like applications. Gaming performance will be similar, but GeForce cards will do a little better.
