    Ebay, in all seriousness, I save 5-10 bucks a game, even on most new releases.

    hi, i just thought i would ask this here instead of a new thread. how long does it take to download half life two through steam on a cable conection? what are the DL speeds?

    I usually get 800kb/s on steam, but ive maxed out at around 1200kb/s on steam before. If you have a cable connection, I would say 30-45 minutes if you get good speeds. But some people get crappy speeds so it depends on you.
