    Buzzing in vid card

    So, I have been getting a very load buzzing coming from the 7800GTX I just put in my computer. It's an electrical buzzing, somewhat like the noise the processor makes, but MUCH louder. It only happens when I run some type of 3D program though, usually games of course.

    Any idea what this could be?? Should I send the card back?? As much as I'd hate to go through the effort of sending it back, I think I'm gonna have to, because it is really load, and I am pretty sure something is wrong with it. Just wanted some other opinions :)

    Oh, and it is DEFINITELY the video card. Not a fan or anything like that, it is the card itself. Just so nobody suggests something like that!!

    What if i suggest that it is the fan on the gpu? :)

    i heard the sound!

    just got mine today and i could hear it for like 20 seconds and then it faded away... :confused:

    Yeah, mine kinda went away now too. I think I'll just stick with it, since it seems to be working fine. It is running quite well atleast :D
